Licensing is designed around local activation — so evaluating and running PacketSense never depends on uploading raw captures.
Simple activation
Activating and renewing a license never requires uploading a capture — nothing about your traffic leaves your machine to run PacketSense.
Local trial
The Trial is a full local evaluation covering PCAP and text import, live capture, the Local Analyst Assistant, threat hunting, and reports — excluding cloud AI and Enterprise Admin.
Enterprise governance
Enterprise seats add policy controls, seat and device management, cloud AI governance, and intelligence-update policy for admin seats.
